Finbarr Roarty (Naomh Conaill)
On his last day as a 17-year-old, Roarty, who wore the No 2 jersey, became the first player on record to represent Donegal competitively before lining out his club, in this case Naomh Conaill. Last year, Roarty became the first player from St Columba’s Comprehensive, Glenties to be named on Ulster Schools GAA All-Star football team, where he helped his school to three underage provincial titles.
A keen basketball player, he captained Donegal to the Ulster Minor League title and just two minutes in against Armagh, set up a goal for Michael Langan.
