Donegal have a 12-year unbeaten league record in Ballybofey on the line against Tyrone

The last visiting team to win at MacCumhaill Park in the league was Down, back on March 13, 2010

2019 - Division 2
An opening round win in Ennis against Clare was followed up by a 1-13 to 0-14 win over Meath one freezing night in Ballybofey. Meath were four points in front with just 11 minutes to play, only for a Caolan McGonagle goal to swing the balance of power back towards Donegal. Then, points from Eoin McHugh and Jamie Brennan in injury time got Donegal over the line. Losses to Tipperary and then Fermanagh followed only for Michael Murphy to come off the bench to kick 1-2 in the 1-7 to 0-9 win over Armagh on a night the posts wobbled in the Ballybofey gale. Victories in Cork and then against Kildare in Ballyshannon meant a Division 2 final, which Donegal won 1-17 to 1-15 at Croke Park. They would go on to retain their Ulster crown. (16)
