Donegal and Monaghan have run across one another's paths frequently in the last decade or so, including their three Ulster SFC final meetings on the bounce from 2013 to 2015.

It's the same in the Allianz League too, with the teams facing one another in five out of the last six seasons in Division 1, with the exception being 2019 when Declan Bonner's side were playing out of Division 2.
A win for Donegal on Sunday will move them onto seven points and should be enough to seal survival in Division 1 for 2022, while Monaghan, with only two points to date, have work to do at MacCumhaill Park, where Donegal have an unbeaten 21-match run that stretches back until 2010.
