Gallery: Day of delight for Donegal as they head into All-Ireland semi-final

Maxi Curran's team put in a masterful showing as they overcame the well-fancied Dubs to reach the last four in the All-Ireland Senior Championship for only the second time in their history

Donegal have Croke Park in their sights following their excellent win over Dublin in the  TG4 All-Ireland Senior Football Championship quarter-final this afternoon in Carrick-on-Shannon.

The side managed by Maxi Curran came out on top on a scoreline of 3-7 to 1-7 against Dublin, with Geraldine McLaughlin scoring five frees, Yvonne Bonner hitting the opening goal and then Karen Guthrie, a second half substitute, kicking 2-1 from the bench.

It's Donegal's second trip to HQ this season as the contested the Lidl Division 1 final against Meath earlier in the season. Next Saturday they take on either Meath or Armagh.
