Who are the pretenders for the throne of Donegal senior manager?

The 2012 Footballer of the Year and four-time All-Star is currently the head of the Donegal GAA Academy and a lecturer in Sports Coaching and Performance at Atlantic Technological University Donegal (formerly Letterkenny Institute of Technology).
The Donegal Town native was part of Declan Bonner’s backroom team for three seasons between 2018 and 2020, when they won back-to-back Anglo Celt Cups and lost the latter final to Cavan. As a player with Donegal, Lacey was an All-Ireland winner and three-time Ulster champion.
