Off the beaten track: A selection of stories from last week's championship

The Donegal SFC got underway last weekend in glorious sunshine with eight matches dotted around the county with the IFC and junior competitions seeing their second rounds of action. Here’s a look at some of the things that might have caught your attention

The morning after the night before
St Eunan’s breezed past St Naul’s in their Donegal SFC opener on Saturday with a comfortable 1-14 to 0-7 victory and on Sunday morning, club members including senior team players gathered to do their bit to keep Letterkenny tidy.

The O’Donnell brothers Conor, Niall and Shane, as well as Peter Devine, Eoin McGeehin, Conor O’Donnell Jnr and Oran Winston and other representatives from the club joined up with the regular Sunday morning Letterkenny Tidy Towns members - to give their bit back to the community. AF
