The farewell Mass took place on Saturday evening, and it included a blessing with the Relic of St Peregrine.

Since acquiring the relic, Fr Vincent has passed on blessings to thousands of people visiting the Franciscan Friary in Rossnowlagh. St Peregrine is the patron saint of people suffering from cancer, AIDS and other life threatening illnesses.

Following Saturday evening’s Mass, the congregation joined Fr Vincent for refreshments afterwards.

He has now taken up his role in Stranorlar in a loan arrangement with the Diocese of Raphoe.
