In Pictures: Fidget Feet delight with aerial dance and drive-in bingo combo

The spectacular show continues in Ballyshannon throughout the weekend

A drive-in bingo and aerial dance show extravaganza is taking place in Ballyshannon’s Market Yard. Photographer Philip Mulligan went along to capture the drama and excitement of the first of four shows being presented on Saturday and Sunday.

Presented by Fidget Feet and Donegal County Council, this is a fantastic family day out by Ireland’s leading circus company and aerial dance theatre.

Drive-in, park up and play Bingo all while aerial dancers dance 40 metres high with giant bingo balls and a feast of comedy unfolds below between Biddy and the new bingo caller, John O Dowd. Let's not forget the local Elvis impersonator!

A fun and outrageous show for all the family from ages 6 to 96! The craic is mighty, it's number 90!!

If you don’t have a car, not to worry! Bring blankets, camp chairs and a picnic and settle in for an amusing and laughter-filled show with your family and friends.

Fidget Feet returns with their bingo fever to the 1980s Royal Broadway Parish Bingo. People are dealing with the shocking news that John O’Dowd of Hollywood fame will be replacing the Royal Broadway’s stalwart bingo caller of 30 years! However there is a clash of scheduled events which leads to a whirlwind of local talent and bizarre spectacle, you’ll be clutching your pearls!

Buckle up for a show with comedy, theatre, aerial dance, community talents and much much more.

House! continues in Market Yard, Ballyshannon on Saturday, October 7 at 4.30pm and on Sunday, October 8 at 1pm and 4pm. Each show lasts 50 minutes.

Tickets cost €40 plus booking fee for a car with up to five people, or €10 plus booking fee for individuals. Booking is through the Abbey Arts Centre box office at www.abbeycentre.ie
