In Pictures: Bishop Coll celebrates Mass in his former parish of Drumholm

The Bishop of Ossory had formerly served as parish priest in the parish

The Most Reverend Dr Niall Coll, Bishop of Ossory returned to the former parish of Drumholm where he served for a time as parish priest.

A native of St Johnston, Dr Coll was consecrated as the Bishop of Ossory in January at the Cathedral of St Mary in Kilkenny.

He has since returned to the diocese on a number of occasions, having celebrated Mass in St Johnston and in Donegal Town, where he was parish priest at the time of his appointment. 

His former Drumholm parishioners were delighted to welcome him back to St Brigid’s Church, Ballintra on Saturday evening.
