In Pictures: Heritage Week Open Day at Donegal Parish Church

A chance to play the organ, see old parish records, and ring the bell

The beautiful, historic Donegal Parish Church in Tirchonaill Street, Donegal Town welcomed members of the public to its Heritage Week event. Click on the arrows to see Siobhán McGowan's photos of the event. 

A Heritage Open Day took place on Sunday afternoon, August 25 with activities for all ages. People were invited to come along and see historical displays and artefacts, browse church records and magazines, ring the bell and play the organ. 

It was a busy weekend for the church community, with a fundraising bake sale in the adjacent church hall on the previous day.
