In our 40th year in business and on the back of a busy and successful number of years we decided to expand our retail outlet and open a sweater store in main street Carrick. Click on the arrows for a photo gallery giving a flavour of what to expect:

The third generation of the McNelis family took on the task of transforming the former grocery shop into a colourful stop that wows once you step through the doors - a variety of home and giftware, throws, and of course a delightful selection of colourful Rossan original sweaters.
At the gateway to the Sliabh Liag Cliffs, this new store is a great asset to the village and has been warmly welcomed by locals and businesses in the village.
We are blessed to have such a big family all working together with the third generation heavily involved this last number of years. The work ethic that this new venture needed was instilled in us all by our founder, Mother / Nana Mary McNelis who at 99 years old, watches the videos and well-wishes with great joy.
Mary's vision in the 1970s to knit and sell jumpers on a quiet country farm paved the path for Johnny (RIP), Michael, Pauline, and Sara's Rossan Knitwear business in 1985. To this day, all their garments are still traditionally handcrafted at the mill in Glencolumbkille.
Here's to a busy season on Main Street, Carrick!
