A spokesperson said: “We enjoyed two very busy days where a great selection of home baking was served with plenty of tea and coffee. A wonderful get together of old friends, and now many new ones.
“There was much laughter, chatter and a good old catch-up. Amongst our many visitors was our Lord Mayor, Anna Gallagher, with her Mum, Mrs Breslin.
“Thank you to Mella Britton, who gave a substantial donation, from a fundraiser she held for Solace the previous weekend at her salon.
“The sale of a great variety of pre-loved dresses was a great success and many ladies went home very happy with their purchases.
“All this was made possible only by our very hard -working volunteers who give their time freely to this great charity.
“On behalf of Sr Magdalene, a very big thank you to our local community for your continued support for this great facility, you keep our doors open.
“You are most welcome to our Drop-In mornings – Tuesday and Thursday from 11 am to 12.30, join us for a cup of tea.”
