In pictures: Massive crowds and team support at Donegal homecoming

The team stopped off in Pettigo first and then went on to Donegal Town, where the homecoming took place on the pier, welcoming the team home and celebrating having made it to the All-Ireland final

The team stopped off in Pettigo first and then went on to Donegal Town, where the homecoming took place on the pier. There were approximately 8,000 supporters in attendance welcoming the team home and celebrating having made it to the All-Ireland final. 

The homecoming was organised by Donegal County Council in association with Four Masters GAA club. The event featured Onoir, Darren Boot, Stephen Bennett, The Stinging Rogers, the Encore homecoming choir and piper Christy Murray.
