Activities for Neurodiverse Children

This is Me is hosting two activities in Stranorlar for children in the neurodiverse community. Both activities are subsidised by This is Me community group.

Trampolining:

First up is Trampolining with Bróna on Tuesday, April 7 in Henderson Hall, Stranorlar. 

Join Bróna from Finding Fitness for a Rebound session. Rebounding is a fun, low impact type of aerobic exercise that is performed while jumping on a mini-trampoline.

Each child will have an individual trampoline to complete activities. Sessions are 40 minutes long. Each session is limited to 10 places.

Session 1: 10am to 10.40am

Session 2: - 11am to 11.40am

Session 3: 12 noon to 12.40pm

Parent, guardian or caregiver must stay for the entire session. Bróna will have additional trampolines and welcomes parents, guardians, and caregivers to join in the activities.

It is advised that children who are sensitive to sound bring noise cancelling earphones as there is increased sound levels when all trampolines are in use.

Messy Play:

The second activity is Messy Play with Maggie, taking place at the  Finn Valley Family Resource Centre on Thursday, April 9. 

Join Maggie from Let's Mess Donegal for Messy Play activities. Maggie will lead the children through various sensory and messy play stations. Each session is limited to 12 places.

Session 1: 10am to 11am 

Session 2: 1pm - 2pm

Please note that parent, guardian or caregiver must stay for the entire session must stay for the entire session. It is advised that children wear clothing that is suitable for messy play.

Booking essential, €6 per child.
