Family Fun and Mini Trainride

The Easter Bunny is making plans to visit Donegal Town for an egg-citing day of family fun and games at the Donegal Railway Heritage Museum on Saturday, April 4.
“We'll be welcoming kids to hop aboard the Easter Express to meet and receive a gift from the bunny of the hour,” a spokesperson said.
“We'll also have Easter crafts, games, special displays and a few extra surprises on the day!”
The Easter Bunny is hopping with excitement at the prospect of visiting Donegal Town.
“I am really excited about my return to the Donegal Railway Museum – I think the kids in Donegal might just be the best in Ireland, maybe even the world, plus I’m something of a narrow-gauge railway enthusiast myself,” said the Easter Bunny.
“This is a great experience for all the family, which includes not only a ride on our ride-on train to see me and receive a gift, but also an art workshop, Easter puzzles to solve, displays to see, model railways, an opportunity to see the famous Donegal steam engine Drumboe up close, and much much more!”
The event runs from 12 noon to 5pm. Tickets cost €10 per child / €5 per adult. Those wishing to attend are asked to book their family’s individual timeslot as soon as possible by calling 74 9722655 between 10am and 5pm, Monday to Saturday. Alternatively, people can book online at donegalrailway.com
“We're egg-cited to see you all then!” added the spokesperson.
