Glenfin might've been the team that benefitted the most from the restructure of the divisions in the All-County League but they've shown from day one they're more than fit for the top flight.
Mark McGinty's tenure came to an end with a loss to Termon in the Division 2 promotions play-offs and Division 1 was beefed up to 13 teams, with Glenfin, on last year's finishes, in 13th overall. However, they continued their impressive start to 2022 with a seven-point win over Gaoth Dobhair.
"Gaoth Dobhair put us under pressure at the end," Frank McGlynn said. "We're still trying to bed in Shaun Ward and Luke McGlynn. They've been a huge boost to the team. It's great for us to be honest."
