Frank Feighan (FG) is the first TD elected at the Sligo Leitrim and south Donegal General Election count in the Clayton Hotel in Sligo. He was announced on the 11th count, with 12,241 votes.
He took a moment to thank the people of south Donegal for their support and to remind them that he would continue his clinics in that part of the constituency.
