Bishop Elect Fr Alan McGuckain SJ has arrived in St Eunan's Cathedral in Letterkenny for the ordination that will see him become the new Bishop of Raphoe.
Flanked by his two brothers, Fr McGuckian entered a packed cathedral to the hymns from a special diocesan choir made up of singers from all 33 parishes.
The service is ongoing.
