Watch: Errigal College welcomes Letterkenny's first fairy garden

Errigal College announced the arrival of Letterkenny's first fairy garden last week, nestled within the confines of the secret garden area of Bernard McGlinchey Town Park.

This enchanting addition to our community has been eagerly awaited and promises to bring joy and wonder to visitors of all ages.

The fairy doors that dot the landscape of the garden were handcrafted by the talented woodwork students of Errigal College under the guidance of Mr Paul Kelly. Each fairy door is unique and designed in collaboration with Ms. Crossans’ Transition Year art students, who lent their imaginative flair to ensure that every detail sparkles with magic.

"This fairy garden represents the culmination of the students’ hard work and creativity," remarked Mr Paul Kelly, Woodwork Teacher at Errigal College. "It's been truly rewarding to see the talents shine as they crafted each fairy door in our newly fitted Woodwork room."

The creation of this wonderland was made possible through the collaborative efforts of various departments within Errigal College, including Mr Evan Gorrell and the Business department, whose contributions helped bring the fairy garden to life.

Mr Gorrell, Business Teacher, expressed his excitement about the project, stating, "The creation of this fairy garden showcases the power of cross-curricular collaboration. It's been a pleasure to work alongside my colleagues and students to bring this fairy village to life. We hope that this magical realm brings joy and wonder to all who visit, regardless of their age!"
