Watch: Motorists face snow and icy roads

Caution advised on the county's roads after heavy overnight snow in places

Motorists are being advsied to drive with caution this morning with snow and icy roads in many parts of Donegal.

Strorm Eunice is causing disruption in many parts of the country.

Donegal Co Council has been deploying crews to keep major routes clear this morning.

However, many minor roads have significant accumulations of snow, especially on high ground.

Further rain, sleet and snow is expected but the worst of the winds associated with the storm have been in the south of the country.

Thousands of homes in Cork and Kerry are without power with gusts of more than 130km/h reported in some areas, along with heavy rain.
