Cllr Ciaran Brogan: 'I don't mind the wait just as long as you get picked for the team'

The veteran councillor was re-elected alongside Jimmy Kavanagh on the 13th count

Ciaran Brogan doted on nephew Jack following his election on the 13th count. 

Brogan was re-elected alongside Fine Gael's Jimmy Kavanagh after two recounts, which eventually resulted in the election of Michael McBride (Ind) and Donal Coyle (FF) on the 14th count.
