The wildfire which broke out in Barnesmore Gap on Sunday afternoon is rapidly spreading up the mountain.
However there is some relief for the nearby homeowners with the change of wind direction bringing the flames away from their properties which are within yards of the fire.
Local fire crews have been joined by colleagues from a number of other units as they battle to get the blaze under control.
