Watch: Daniel dancing and singing to kick off the Crowning Cabaret

The Crowning Cabaret is taking place this evening, and one of the 15 ladies will be selected as the 2025 Mary From Dungloe

The 2025 Mary From Dungloe Crowning Cabaret has kicked off. 

The event is presented by Daniel O’Donnell, who took to the stage to perform There’s Always a Fire in the Kitchen. Tonight, one of the 15 ladies selected will be crowned as 2025 Mary From Dungloe.

This year's judges are Mary From Dungloe Chairperson, Crona Byrne, a relation of the late Gay Byrne from just outside Naas, Co Kildare, who describes Dungloe as her second home. Alongside her are the first ever Mary From Dungloe, Celine Powell, BBC Weatherman Barra Best, Katie McMahon, the 1995 Mary and Highland Radio’s Greg Hughes.
