Watch: First-ever Connacht Mary waxes Daniel’s legs on stage

The first-ever Connacht Mary, Caragh Ryan, waxed Daniel O’Donnell’s leg on stage. 

All of the fifteen ladies are asked to showcase their talents - having previously worked as a beauty therapist for seven years, Caragh felt it was fitting to showcase her waxing skills. 

The 31-year-old hails from Kilmeena, Westport, County Mayo, and is the first-ever Connacht representative at the Mary from Dungloe International Arts Festival.

Aside from representing the province, she is also busy planning her “Destination Donegal” wedding to her fiancé Craig this coming November, who is also escorting her. 

Originally a beauty therapist, she recently completed a Level 7 Certificate in Special Needs Assisting at St Angela’s, Sligo. Caragh has been a dedicated fundraiser for Western Alzheimer's since 2017, a cause close to her heart.
