A fundraiser has been organised by Donal Quinn to restore two windows in the sanctuary area at St Brigid's Church in Ballintra.
St Brigid's Church is located in the Drumholm Parish and this year marks 175 years since the foundation stones were originally laid. The Church was completed in 1845. It has been decided to bring the Church back to its original design by opening two windows in the sanctuary area which were blocked up approximately 70 years ago. The new windows will consist of stained glass which is in keeping with the original design. If you would like to contribute, click here.
The interior will also be repainted and additional lighting will be fitted in the sanctuary area.
