Kernan's brings a bright spark of life to Ballyshannon

Grand opening on Thursday next, September 29th

It was only 8.00 am and there was already a great buzz around Kernan's Supermarket in Ballyshannon.
Customers were dropping in for their morning papers, others grabbing that breakfast to go from the very appetising deli and others just taking advantage of the 7.00 am opening to get their shopping done.
There is no doubt that David O'Donnell and his team have brought a whole new lease of life to the town with the total refurbishment now completed in Kernan's Supermarket.
David told the Democrat this week, “We are delighted with the response so far - we have tailored our opening and closing times to suit the customer offering but early morning and late night shopping.
In today's busy world this is essential for the vast majority of our customers.
The new shop is exceptionally spacious and well laid out and incorporates all the ingredients one would expect from a first class supermarket - a top class deli, a varied and well - stocked off-licence, a newsagents, coffee station and a highly competitive selection of groceries for all your shopping needs.
David said, “We will be focussing very much on the customer with a very special emphasis on personal service. In today's world we all have to be competitive but I feel we can bring that little extra touch to our customers.
“We are having our Grand Opening on Thursday next (29th) between 11.00am and 2.pm with the well known Farrah from Fair City and one of Donegal's best Ryan McHugh. It promises to be a great afternoon with no shortage of special offers, prizes and fun for the children.”
Kernan's are already well established in Donegal and renowned for their excellence in Letterkenny, Drumkeen, Newtowncunningham and Ramelton and have a great reputation for their involvement in the communities.
