Three charities have benefited from donations of €2,600 each, thanks to the success of new theatre company Curtain Call’s inaugural production.

The team staged the John B Keane classic Big Maggie in Leghowney Community Hall in August, with the three-night run raising a fantastic €8,000.

Tracey Faulkner and Angela Mulreany of Curtain Call presented proceeds to the charities in Donegal Town on Tuesday, September 23. Mayor of Donegal Town Anna Gallagher received a cheque on behalf of Donegal Hospice. Phil Gallagher was presented with a cheque for Donegal Cancer Support Centre, and the third cheque was presented to staff and patients from Aras MacSuibhne for the facility’s patient comfort fund.
