Cork singer Cian Ducrot has been announced for Summer Sessions Letterkenny 2026.

Following a year which saw him release his second studio album Little Dreaming, as well as performing to a sold-out 3Arena crowd, singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot returns this summer to play the Summer Sessions Letterkenny, on Friday, August 14 2026.

Raised in Cork, Cian was surrounded by music growing up and soon excelled himself, learning piano, classical guitar, saxophone, percussion, drums, violin and the flute. He studied at London’s Royal Academy of Music from the age of nine and soon felt split between his classical training and his desire to make pop music. He continued his studies while writing songs and posting on social media, but his mind was made up following a successful songwriting camp in Los Angeles.

The deciding factor between the two worlds was the ability that a pop artist has to connect with their audience - and that remains a big aspect of his artistry to this day. He was far from an overnight success, however, often borrowing money, busking, surfing sofas and taking on random jobs to fund writing trips to London and LA. His first breakthrough on TikTok led to his debut EP Make Believe and he grew in stature with every release, especially when ‘I’ll Be Waiting’ and ‘All For You’ completed his journey from pub gigs in Cork to the upper reaches of the charts.

Little Dreaming was released to widespread acclaim last August, and saw Ducrot claim his second Irish Number One album. The Dream Ship tour saw Ducrot play packed shows in London, Manchester, and Glasgow, as well as Paris, Brussels, Berlin, Copenhagen, and Stockholm before closing with a sold-out show in Dublin’s 3Arena in December.

Summer Sessions Letterkenny said: “We are super excited to hear Cian Ducrot perform all his chart topping hits at Summer Sessions Letterkenny such as ‘Heaven’, ‘All For You’, ‘I’ll Be Waiting’ to name just a few will ring out through the amazing atmosphere at the Big Top in Kiltoy. After selling out Europe and the incredible 3Arena in December, we are in for a very special treat as this international powerhouse comes to Donegal to perform Summer Sessions Letterkenny alongside some very special guests.
