Donegal’s Eric Roberts is through to another week on Dancing with the Stars.

Ireland AM presenter Eric Roberts, from Glen, and pro partner Arianna Favaro danced a Cha-cha-cha to “Waffle House” by the Jonas Brothers. They received 32 points.

Eurovision winner Niamh Kavanagh became the fifth celebrity to be eliminated from the competition. After the second Dance-Off of the season on this week’s Boy Bands V Girl Groups special, Niamh Kavanagh and pro partner Stephen Vincent left the competition.

Niamh said: "I'm delighted because I had the best time, I've done something I never thought I could do...Stephen has been magnificent the whole way through this, a lot of patience and just phenomenal. I will take this right into the next decade!"

Top of the leaderboard were Rose of Tralee Katelyn Cummins and her partner Leonardo Lini. They danced a Rumba to “No Matter What” by Boyzone, receiving 39 points.

The contestants split into two teams to compete in a group dance. On Team Jennifer, Jennifer and James, Eric and Arianna, Jordan and Rebecca, Paudie and Laura, Philip and Daniela and they danced to “Relight my Fire” by Take That. Over on Team Laura, Laura and Robert, Katelyn and Leonardo, Niamh and Stephen, Stephanie and Ervinas, Tolu and Maciej danced to “Spice Up Your Life” by The Spice Girls. Team Laura was the winner with 39 points.

Next week is the 100th episode of Dancing with the Stars, airing on Sunday, February 22 from 6:30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
