This Friday bands from Donegal will battle it out with talented artists from all over the country as the BEO live music showcase comes to Letterkenny.
It is being hosted and organized for the first time by St. Eunan’s College in Letterkenny, headlining with renowned local band “In Their Thousands”.
Schools from all over will be convening to enjoy the gig at the Regional Cultural Centre with bands such as “Apollo Six” and “Jamaican Vampires” riling up the crowd for a fantastic atmosphere.
This will be the last BEO gig before the competition’s finale on March 7th as a part of Seachtain na Gaeilge.
The organising team from St Eunan’s will be aiming to sum up the fantastic experiences students have encountered all through the year at other BEO gigs such as the ones at Belfast, Limerick and Kilcar and bring it to an explosive end.
The doors will be opening at 7pm and the night will meet its end at 9pm
With workshops also taking place, gig goers will be kept on their toes as the event sets out to raise the bar for the standards of future gigs.
One of BEO’s prime organizers, Seosamh Mac Ceallabhuí said: “It’ll be a great time and I hope that you can all be there for some of the best music in the country”.
No matter what you’re out for: a bit of craic with some mates, taking the opportunity to listen to some great music or some other reason, BEO will meet every mark on your criteria for a memorable night out.
