TV stars visit famed writers home
Stars from the popular Ros na Run television series recently paid a visit to the birthplace of a renowned Irish language author in west Donegal.

Stars from the popular Ros na Run television series recently paid a visit to the birthplace of a renowned Irish language author in west Donegal.

Two members of the cast from the TG4 show paid a visit to the home of writer Niall O Donaill in Loughanure, which is currently under renovation. Among the group was Sean O Baoill who plays Adam and Niall Mac Eamharcaigh who plays John Joe.

Their visit tot the site was accompanied by local Irish language teacher and relative of the late Niall O Donaill, May Molloy as well as Eugene Greene, who is chairman of Coiste Cultur Loch an Iuir who have undertaken the project. Ó Dónaill is most famous for his work as editor of the Foclóir Gaeilge-Béarla dictionary, which is still widely used.
