Pauric McKinney led the Inishowen AC team to gold
Inishowen AC were gold medal winners in the team event at the National 5 Mile Championships in Phoenix Park on Sunday.
The team were led home by Pauric McKinney, who finished 44th overall in a time of 28:12, with Liam Brady next ten places and 50 seconds behind.
Martin McClucas was the third and final counter on the team, ensuring a gold medal as he finished 73rd in 29:31 for a combined time of 1:26:33, just over a minute clear of second-placed team Raheny Shamrock AC, while Tuam AC took the team bronze.

The event, the second of three events as part of the 2025 Athletics Ireland Race Series, supported by Active Cities Dublin, followed on from last month’s Biofreeze Irish Runner 5k, with the 10 Mile event being held on Sunday, the 27th of July.
