Donal Farren is part of the Donegal team that will compete in Tullamore
This Sunday, Donegal County Athletics will make history when they compete in the Inter-County Track and Field in Tullamore.
This is the first time that the County Board has entered a team in the League and hopes are high. The team is made up of athletes from Letterkenny, Killybegs, Rosses, Cranford, Milford, and Lifford-Strabane athletic clubs.
For many of the athletes, it is their first time to experience this competition and a great opportunity to pit the county against other counties in Ireland.

There is experience in the group with the Letterkenny athletes who have previously competed in the Indoor league, and Killybegs brothers Dylan and Chris Kearns were both members of the Finn Valley teams in the past.
The team will be managed by Michael Logue of Rosses AC and Bernie O'Callaghan of Killybegs AC.
This is a preliminary round, and hopes are high that the team will progress to the finals day on the 20th of July.
The athletes competing will be Brian Boyce (Milford AC), Oisin Gillespie (Rosses AC), Caolan McFadden, Michael Moore and Adam Friel (Cranford AC), Luke Ward and Brendan O’Donnell (Lifford Strabane AC), Dylan Kearns and Chris Kearns (Killybegs AC), Joseph Aidoo, Sheldon Romeo, Danny Sharkey and Donal Farren (Letterkenny AC).
