The Carrickfinn Coastal 10k and 5k Run has been cancelled due to weather warnings.

The race, due to take place on this August Bank Holiday Monday, won't go ahead after Met Éireann issued a weather warning for the North West due to Storm Floris.

A yellow weather warning alert was announced for counties Cavan, Donegal, Monaghan and Leitrim, which is valid from 4am Monday until 4pm.
