The double-header gets underway on Sunday at 11:30am
Fintown is set to embrace the festive spirit early this year with a double dose of cheer on Sunday, November 16.
The village will host both a Christmas Craft Fair and a fun-filled Tractor Run on the same day, offering something for the whole family.
The community is invited to spend a festive afternoon shopping for unique handmade gifts and enjoying tasty treats at the Fintown Christmas Craft Fair. Running from 12 noon to 5pm, the fair is the perfect opportunity to shop local and stock up on special presents or items ahead of the festive season, whether you're shopping for that special person or stocking up for the Late Late Toy Show. Organisers are encouraging everyone to join in and "Celebrate Christmas in Fintown," promising a wonderful, cheery atmosphere.

Adding a vibrant, high-horsepower kick to the day is the Fintown Tractor Run. This event is a fundraiser, with proceeds going in fid of Christmas Lights for the village. Registration for the event begins at 11:30am at The Railway Inn, and the entry Fee is €15. The run is being held in conjunction with the Mid-West Donegal Vintage Club, and vintage cars are also welcome to participate. A prize for the Best Festive Tractor will be awarded, ensuring a spectacular, colourful, and illuminated procession to herald the start of the Christmas season in Fintown.
