The Association of Donegal Celtic Supporters’ Clubs have made Christmas donations to two very worthy charities.
This year, they made two donations of €1,000 each to Donegal Hospice and to Donegal Down Syndrome.
This monies raised come from the proceeds from their bus draws going to and from Celtic Park from Donegal so far this season, where over €1,000 was raised by supporters. The Association then matched this amount to bring the total to €2,000.

“We pick two charities every year,” Jamie Sweeney of the Association of Donegal Celtic Supporters’ Clubs said. “The Donegal Hospice, it goes without saying that it’s a fantastic service to so many people in the county and Donegal Down Syndrome, we’ve done some work with them through the Celtic Foundation. Thanks to everyone who supported.

“Charity is fundamental to Celtic’s identity and honours the legacy of the club's founding father, Brother Walfrid, and we're more than happy to do a little bit to help. Thanks everyone for your continued support and wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas.”
In 2024, the Association made similar presentations to the Donegal-Galway Cancer Bus Service and the Paediatric Ward at Letterkenny University Hospital.
