A gold Claddagh ring, a sum of cash and two car keys have been stolen from a house that was left ransacked in Stranorlar.
Gardaí are investigating a burglary that occurred at Meetinghouse Street, Stranorlar on Wednesday, January 29, between 1am and 7.30am. A house at that location was entered and ransacked between those times. A gold Claddagh ring, a sum of cash and two VW Passat car keys were stolen from within the house. A door and a window were left open by the intruder/s. No damage had been caused in order to gain entry.
“We appeal to anyone who may have observed suspicious activity in that area between the above times to contact Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100,” a spokesperson for An Garda Siochana said. “If anybody can assist this or any of our appeals with relevant information they may alternatively contact the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.”
