“Every one of our members brings something special to our community, their talents, smiles, energy, and unique personalities brighten our lives every day,” Donegal Down Syndrome said. “This day is about celebrating differences, promoting inclusion, and showing the world the amazing contributions of people with Down syndrome. Let’s remember to see the person, not the syndrome.
“Whether through therapies, sports, social activities, or just being themselves, our members inspire us all and remind us how much joy, strength, and love they bring to our county. We are so proud of each and every one of our members and all that they bring to our community.”
World Down Syndrome Day took place on Saturday, March 21, 2026.
