'Substantial damage' cause to rowing boat at Purt Lake

Gardaí in Milford are seeking information after a rowing boat at that location was tipped over and substantial damage was caused as a result

'Substantial damage' cause to rowing boat at Purt Lake

Part Lake, Dunfanaghy

Substantial damage was caused to a rowing boat at Purt Lake, Dunfanaghy in recent weeks.

The act of criminal damage is believed to have occurred between Thursday, February 20 and Thursday, March 6.

Gardaí in Milford are seeking information after a rowing boat at that location was tipped over and substantial damage was caused as a result.

A Garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to anyone who may have observed any suspicious activity or vehicles (diggers etc.) in the area of the lake during that time period, to make contact with Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060.”
