Driver confronted by group of men in Milford

A man driving in Milford was approached by a group of men who blocked his path and ordered him to exit his car.

Gardaí are investigating the incident that occurred at Carrownaganonagh, between Milford and Termon, in the early hours of Thursday, May 29, at approximately 3am.

The man reported that he was driving at that location when three men who were wearing dark clothing emerged onto the road from a vacant farmhouse along the roadside. 

One of the men demanded that he exit the car while the other two blocked his path ahead. The driver managed to leave the area. 

A Garda spokesperson said: “Our investigation into the matter is ongoing and CCTV is being sought as part of that. We appeal to anyone who may have been in the area with a dash-cam between 2am and 4am to make the footage available to Gardaí.
