Twenty-seven sheep stolen in Donegal ‘only recently discovered’

Twenty-seven sheep are believed to have been stolen from a field in Donegal. 

The theft happened between Tuesday, July 15 and Sunday, August 24, in the area of Newtown, Ramelton. 

“The theft was only recently discovered,” Garda Grainne Doherty said. “If anyone noticed any suspicious activity in that area between those dates or if they can assist with any relevant information, we ask them to get in touch with Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060.

“Should anyone within farming circles hear any relevant information, we ask them to contact Gardaí directly or alternatively to call the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.”
