Gardaí are investigating the alleged assault
A male in his late teens had to be taken to hospital after an alleged assault by another male in Letterkenny.
The alleged assault occurred at Lower Main Street at approximately 3:07am on Saturday, October 11. A male in his late teens is believed to have been assaulted by another male at that location at that time.
The injured male attended Letterkenny University Hospital to receive medical treatment as he had sustained injuries. Gardaí say none of the injuries were life-threatening in nature.
“We appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch with us,” said a garda spokesperson. “If anyone travelled at Lower Main Street with a dash-cam around that time, we ask them to make the footage available to us. Any relevant information should be passed on to Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.”
