Woman and child hospitalised after collision involving van in Milford

A woman and a child were hospitalised after they were struck by a van in Milford.

The road traffic collision occurred at Main Street, Milford on Tuesday, January 13 at approximately midday. The collision involved a van and two pedestrians, a woman and a child.

The woman and a child were taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive medical treatment for injuries described as “non-life threatening”. The driver was not injured.

“We appeal to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060,” said Garda Gráinne Doherty. “If anyone travelled in that area with a dash-cam around that time, we ask them to please make the footage available to us.”
