A driver fled after striking another car parked at Buncrana Shorefront.
The incident happened on Sunday between 12am and 12:15am on the Aileach Road.
A white Seat Leon with a partial registration of ’12 DL’ struck a parked car and the driver did not remain at the scene.
Gardaí are appealing for the assistance of the public in connection with the incident of dangerous driving.

“We appeal to anyone who may have travelled in the area of the Aileach Road, Shore Front or on the Swilly Road between Midnight and 00.30am with a dash-cam, to make the footage available to investigating Gardaí.
“Any relevant information should be forwarded on to Gardaí in Buncrana on 074-9320540.”
