Male youth sought after lit firework thrown into Donegal home
The young male is described as wearing a dark jacket with a red hoodie and is around 5’5 in height
Gardaí are seeking a young male after a lit firework was thrown into a house in Donegal Town.
The criminal damage incident occurred at Bluestack Park on Sunday, November 1, shortly before 2am.
The resident heard a disturbance outside and discovered his car had been covered in eggs and flour. Upon opening the door, he saw a male youth who was of slight build, around 5ft 5 in height, wearing a dark jacket and a red hoodie, throw a lit firework into his hallway before running away.
The firework then exploded in the hallway; however, no damage was caused and nobody was injured.
“We appeal to anyone who may have dash-cam footage from that area between 1.30am and 2.30am that morning to make it available to Gardaí,” Garda Gerard McNamee said.
“Any relevant information should be passed on to Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530.”
