Nigel Lloyd, Dunkineely

The death has occurred of Nigel Lloyd, Casheltown, Dunkineely, Co Donegal, F94 X625, and Oadby, Leicester, England.

He passed away peacefully at the North West Hospice, Sligo on February 14.

Nigel will be sadly missed by his broken-hearted partner Kim Pereira, parents Angela and Roy Lloyd, sister Lindsay, brother John, extended family, neighbours and his many friends in Ireland and UK.

Reposing at his late residence on Thursday, February 20 from 12pm to 8pm.

Funeral service in Solace Cancer Support Centre, St Joseph's Avenue, Donegal Town on Friday 21st February at 11am followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 3pm.

Sarah Doherty, Downings

The peaceful death has taken place in her 107th year at the Lake House Nursing Home of Sarah Doherty (Nee Mac Fadden), Kinnelargey, Downings.

Her remains will repose at her late residence from 5pm on Tuesday, February 18 and on Wednesday from 11am till 10pm.

Sadly missed by her daughters Nuala and Finn and extended family. Funeral on Thursday going to the church of St John the Baptist for requiem Mass at 11am followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

June O’Donnell, Carrigans

The peaceful death has occurred of June O’Donnell (née Brown) in her family home surrounded by her devoted family.

June will be lovingly missed by her husband Paddy, daughters Paula, Paddi (Graeme), son Joseph (Caoimhe) and her cherished grandchildren Shannon, Patrick, Zoe, Robbie, Aaron, Anna & wee Joseph and great-grandchildren Mia, Scarlett and wee Bobby.

Her sisters & brothers Vally, Jen, Lynn and Ken, nieces, nephews and extended family.

June was predeceased by her parents Bob and Lizzy Brown, her sister Minty, and brothers Jackie, Robby, Noel, Joe, Stephen, Dom, Oliver, Eugene & Michael. RIP

June will be reposing at her family home from 5pm to 10pm on Tuesday, February 18 and on Wednesday, February 19 from 12noon to 10pm. Family time only on the morning of the funeral please.

The funeral cortège will be leaving her family home in Dunmore, Carrigans, F93YD88, at 10am on Thursday, February 20 going to St Baithin’s Church, St Johnston for requiem Mass at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Joseph Boyle, Portnoo

The peaceful death has occurred at Letterkenny University Hospital of Joseph (Josie Victor) Boyle.

Predeceased by his wife Isobel (Bella) and son Patrick Joseph. Deeply regretted by his daughter’s Rosaleen and Catherine Grace,and grandchildren.

Removal from the Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Letterkenny on Tuesday, February 18 at 3.30pm going to his late residence at Kilclooney Beg, Portnoo to arrive at approximately 5pm.

Funeral mass on Thursday at 11am in St Conal’s Church, Kilclooney with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Family time from 10pm until 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Brian Connolly, Offaly and Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Brian (Benney) Connolly Ballicknahee, Clara, Offaly and Letterkenny.

He died peacefully in Tullamore Hospital surrounded by his loving family, friends and co-workers. Predeceased by his parents Eileen and Brendan.

Brian will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his sister Martina, brother Noel, partner Jenny, children Lauren, Jordan (Adam), Brandon, Katie and Emma (Dylan), Lauren and Brandon’s mother Lisa, nieces Nicole and Sam, relatives, friends, staff at the Tullamore Hospital and Tom and Gerry’s Bar.

Reposing at O’Reilly's Funeral Home, Harbour Street, Tullamore (R35 FC84) on Tuesday evening from 4:30pm until Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass for Brian will take place on Thursday morning at 11am in St Brigid's Church, Clara, followed by burial after Mass in the Monastery Cemetery, Clara.

Patrick McGovern, Bundoran and Cavan

The death has occurred of Patrick (Pat) McGovern, Finnerville, Bundoran, F94 R206 and formerly Derrynananta, Glangevlin, Co Cavan.

He passed away peacefully at North West Hospice, Sligo surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved son Paul, his parents Ann and Pat and sister Mary (New York).

Much-loved husband to Ann, adored father to Patrick (Gillian), Kelly (Paul) and Philip (Gary), much loved grandfather to Rachael, Molly, Theresa, Elli, Emily and RJ. Pat will be sadly missed by his sister Nora, brothers Jack, Phil, Benny, Joe and all his extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his residence Tuesday, February 18 from 2pm to 8pm. House strictly private at all other times please. Removal on Wednesday the 19th of February to The Church of Our Lady Star of The Sea, Bundoran for 11am funeral mass Followed by burial afterward in St. Mary’s Church Cemetery, Cashelard.

Tricia Devine, Lifford

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Tricia Devine, (née Armstrong), 4 Rossgier Close, Lifford, and formerly of London.

Much-loved mother of Ciara, Sean and Lauren, dearly loved grandmother of Shamiah, Brody and the late Lexi, and sister of Rosie and Carolyn and wife of Martin.

Funeral leaving her home on Wednesday. February 19 at 1.30pm for Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Murlog at 2pm.
Cremation afterwards in Lakelands Crematorium.

Deeply regretted by her sorrowing son, daughters, grandchildren, sisters and family circle. The requiem Mass can be viewed live via the parish webcam.

Bernadette Feeney, Castlefinn

The death has taken place of Bernadette Feeney (née McKelvey) late of 1 Coolyslin, Castlefinn and formerly of Castlewellan Co. Down. She passed away peacefully at Letterkenny University Hospital on February.

Beloved wife of Peter, loving mother of Matthew and mother-in-law of Rosemary. Devoted grandmother of Patrick, Annabelle and Edward. Dear sister of Mary, Margaret, Angela, Evelyn, Patricia, Desmond and the late Francis, Eugene and Kevin. Very deeply regretted by the McKelvey and Feeney family circles.

Reposing at her late home. You are welcome to call at the wake from 6pm to 10pm Monday, February 17 and 11am to 10pm on Tuesday.

Funeral on Wednesday, February 19 leaving her late home at 10.30am for 12noon Requiem Mass in St Mary’s Church, Altinure Road, Park, Co Derry, BT47 4BA.

Interment immediately afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. Requiem Mass can be viewed via the church webcam.

Maureen Quinn, Raphoe

The death has taken place in Archview Lodge Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family of Maureen Quinn nee Connolly, Townparks, Raphoe, F93 HD96.

Lovingly missed by her daughters and sons Assumpta (Liam), Anne (John), Thomas (Mary), sister Marjorie, Terence (Tina), Bríd (Gavin), Donna (Patrick), Martin (Marilda), her grandchildren Christopher,Thomas, Emer, Aíne, Shauna, Fearghal, Megan, Melissa, Michael, Rachael, Pádraig,and Jordan, Adam and their mum Jill and great- grandchildren, Lauren, Hannah nd Teidí, her brother and sister Tony and Alacque, her nieces and nephews and all her extended family and friends.

Maureen was predeceased by her parents Anton and Mary Bridget, husband Tommy, brother and sister Barry and Marjorie, granddaughter Bridget Marian, may they all rest in peace.

Reposing at her late residence on Monday, February 17 from 12pm to 9pm and on Tuesday, February18 from 12pm to 9pm.

Rosary on both evenings at 9pm. Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral cortege will be leaving her late residence on Wednesday at 11.20am going to St Eunan’s Church, Raphoe for 12 noon Requiem Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Funeral Mass can be viewed online via the parish webcam.

Lucy McCafferty, Stranorlar

The death has occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at the Donegal Hospice, Letterkenny of Lucy McCafferty, 46 Admiran Park, Stranorlar F93 V6K0, and formerly of Main Street, Stranorlar.

Deeply regretted and lovingly remembered by her loving partner Sam Armstrong, her daughter Amanda (Mark), her son Kevin (Megan), cherished sister of Judy, Margaret (Philip), Patrick, Karl, Nora (Sam), Liz (Eamon), nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Sheila and her brothers Dermot and John.

Remains reposing at her late residence on Monday, February 17 and Tuesday, February 18 from 11am to 9pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral please. Funeral leaving from there on Wednesday, February 19 at 10.30am for Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar at 11am.

Interment in Stranorlar cemetery. The Requiem Mass will be streamed live via the parish webcam.
