The following deaths have taken place:

- Michael McConigley, Fanad

- Gloria Breslin, Derry, Letterkenny and Quigley’s Point

- Pat Harrold, Ballybofey

- Hugh Toland, Kerrykeel and North Carolina

Michael McConigley, Fanad

The peaceful death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Michael McConigley, Ardglass, Portsalon, Fanad, Co. Donegal.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Mary. Deeply regretted by his brother Patrick, his extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at his late residence. House private to family, friends and neighbours only please.

Requiem Mass will be held in St Columba’s Church, Massmount, Fanad on Tuesday, February  25 at 11am, followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard. The Requiem Mass will be live-streamed on the McAteer Funeral Directors Facebook Page.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu of flowers to The Renal Dialysis Unit at Letterkenny University Hospital c/o any family member or McAteer Funeral Directors

Gloria Breslin, Derry, Letterkenny and Quigley’s Point

The peaceful death has taken place on Saturday, February 22 at Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry of Gloria Breslin née Sweeney, 35 Troy Park, Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 7RL and formerly from Ballymaleel P.O, Letterkenny and Quigley’s Point.

Deeply missed by her loving sons Aidan (Valerie) and Cathal (Sabrina), daughters Carla and Leona (Brendan), nine grandchildren, sisters Mary O’Donnell, Kathleen Ponsonby and Margaret Toner (Letterkenny), brothers John, Noel and Eamonn (Ballymaleel), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours.

Gloria is predeceased by her husband Liam (2009), brother Georgie and parents Susan and William.

Gloria’s remains will repose at The Eternal Light Chapel of Rest, Mountain Top, Letterkenny, F92 XE35, on Sunday, February 23 from 2pm until 5pm. Funeral arrangements later. Family flowers only please.

Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Foyle Hospice c/o any family member.

Pat Harrold, Ballybofey

The death has occurred at his late residence of Pat Harrold, Glenfinn Road, Ballybofey, F93 F21V, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Mary, cherished father to Maureen, Patrick, Seamus, Kevin, Kate, Dermot, Helena, Aidan, Donna, dearly loved sister Ita, also the late Joe, (Brendan, Kevin and Anthony in their infancy).

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, sister, brother in law, sons in law, daughters in law grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his late residence on Saturday, February 22 from 5pm to 10pm and on Sunday, February 23 from 12 noon to 10pm. Rosary both nights at 9pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral please.

Funeral leaving from his home on Monday, February 24 at 10.30am for Requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar at 11am. Interment in Drumboe cemetery. The requiem Mass will be streamed live via the parish webcam.

Hugh Toland, Kerrykeel and North Carolina

The peaceful death has taken place in North Carolina, USA of Hugh Toland, formerly of Kerrykeel.

Survived by his wife Mary, son Aidan, daughter Laura, son-in-law Tony, grandsons Nicholas and Vincent, brothers John (North Carolina), Brian (Wales), Colm (Milford), Martin (England), sisters Evelyn (New York) and Mary (Letterkenny) and predeceased by his brother Charlie. Funeral arrangements later.
