The following deaths have taken place:

Robert John Roulston, Newtowncunningham

The death has taken place as the result of a farm accident of Robert John Roulston, Moneymore Little, Newtowncunningham, F93DT88.

Predeceased by his father Alan, cherished son of Florence; much-loved husband of Susan, and father of Louise (Daniel), Helen and Emily; devoted grandfather of baby William. John will be deeply missed by his brothers Keith (Patricia), George (Jayne), sisters Valerie (Colin), Alison (Wesley), Sylvia (John), nieces, nephews, his wider family circle neighbours and many friends.

His remains will repose at his home from 2pm on Wednesday and from 12pm on Thursday. Family time please on the morning of the funeral. 

Funeral leaving from his home on Friday at 12.30pm for 1pm Service of Thanksgiving in Newtowncunningham Presbyterian Church followed by burial in the adjoining graveyard.

Family flowers only, donations in lieu, if desired, to Irish Heart Foundation care of Terence McClintock Funeral Director. 

Phil Bán Boyle, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Phil Bán Boyle, 10 Beechwood Park, Letterkenny and formerly of Arranmore Island. Phil died peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the excellent care of the Donegal Hospice.

Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Phil leaves behind a large and loving family, including his wife Norah, children, Grace (deceased) John (Tara Court) Maire (Conwal), Claire (Guy) Brook Court, Yvonne (Ronan) Killyclug, Phil (Denise) Newmills, Thomas (Marina) Arranmore Island and his 12 grandchildren. Phil was a cherished friend to many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

His remains are reposing at his late residence on Tuesday from 5pm to 9pm, and on Wednesday from 12 noon to 9pm, concluding with Rosary each night at 9pm. Family time please on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral from there on Thursday, going to the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Ballyraine, Letterkenny, F92 PN81, for 1pm Requiem Mass, which can be viewed here followed by burial in Conwal Cemetery.

Joe Craig, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Joseph (Joe) Craig, St Joseph's Avenue, Donegal Town and formerly of Cranny, Inver. He passed away peacefully in the exceptional care at Aras Mhic Suibhne Nursing Home, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Annie, sisters Julie and Mary, Joe will be forever loved and sadly missed by his loving wife Noelle, daughters Joanne and Lisa, sons-in-law Andrew and Johnny and four grandchildren Odhrán, Conor, Fionn and Anna, brother Sean (Teresa), sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law of the Crawford family, nieces and nephews.

His remains are reposing at Tir Connell Funeral Home, Drumrooske, Donegal Town, F94FX3A from 6pm to 9pm on Tuesday, and on Wednesday from 1pm to 8pm. 

Removal on Thursday at 1.30pm to arrive at 2pm at St Agatha’s Church, Clar for Requiem Mass with interment in the new cemetery.

Noel Gallagher, Edeninfagh

The sudden death has occurred at his home of Noel Gallagher, Knockletragh, Edeninfagh, Glenties.

Predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Charles and his brother-in-law Eugene McGuire, Noel is remembered with love by his family, brothers, Gerard, (Knockletragh), Peter (Eileen), Farranfore, Co Kerry, sisters Mary, Surrey, UK, Carmel (Hugh), Belturbet, County Cavan, Kathleen (Thomas). Ballintrillick, Co Sligo, and Teresa (James), Carraroe, Co Sligo, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Noel's remains will repose at McCabe's Funeral Home, Common Bridge, Bracky, Ardara, F94 VCK1 from 3pm until 6pmon Wednesday, with removal to The Church of The Holy Family, Edeninfagh, Glenties, F94 YA62, to arrive for 7 pm for Reception Prayers and to repose overnight. House strictly private please.

Funeral Mass at 11am on Thursday, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Alan Jordan, Inver

The death has occurred of Alan Jordan, London, and formerly of Keelogs, Inver.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his daughter Kelly (Derek), his son Gavin, his wife Rita, and his grandchildren Alix, Maiya, Harry, and Jay; his sisters Eileen (Johnny), Kitty (Jimmy RIP), Rose (Patsy), Mary (Bernie), Patricia (Gerry), Eilish (Martin), Teresa (Dave), and his brothers John (Marion), Christy (Kathleen), Cathal (Geraldine), Paul (Carmel), Noel (Maria), Raymond (Bridgeen), and Michael; his sister-in-law Anna, nieces and nephews; extended family and friends. Alan is predeceased by his parents Jack and Cassie, and his brother Martin.

His remains will repose at the family home in Keelogs, Inver, F94 W9K4, on Tuesday and Wednesday, from 12pm until 10pm. A one-way system will be in place at the wake, with entry via Inver Bridge and exit at Ballymacahill, Frosses. A shuttle bus from Keelogs National School will be available on both days from 5pm until 10pm.

Removal from there on Thursday, going to St Naul’s Church, Ardaghey, for 12pm funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to Cystic Fibrosis Ireland.

Gloria Breslin, Derry, Letterkenny and Quigley’s Point

The peaceful death has taken place at Altnagelvin Hospital, Derry of Gloria Breslin née Sweeney, 35 Troy Park, Culmore Road, Derry, BT48 7RL and formerly from Ballymaleel PO, Letterkenny and Quigley’s Point.

Deeply missed by her loving sons Aidan (Valerie) and Cathal (Sabrina), daughters Carla and Leona (Brendan), nine grandchildren, sisters Mary O’Donnell, Kathleen Ponsonby and Margaret Toner (Letterkenny), brothers John, Noel and Eamonn (Ballymaleel), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family, friends and neighbours. Gloria is predeceased by her husband Liam (2009), brother Georgie and parents Susan and William.

Gloria's remains are reposing at her late residence on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2pm until 9pm with Rosary nightly at 8pm. Family time on the morning of the funeral please.

Funeral from there on Thursday at 9.30am going to St Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn, Derry BT48 7QL for 10am Requiem Mass. Interment will take place afterwards in the City Cemetery BT48 2LA. 

Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if desired, to the Foyle Hospice c/o any family member.

Rose McGonigle, Clonmany

The peaceful death has taken place at her home, surrounded by her loving family of Rosaleen (Rose) McGonigle, née O’Donnell, Annagh, Clonmany (Ballyliffin Hotel).

Predeceased by her husband Paddy, parents Henry and Annie, and her sisters Mary, Tessie and Margaret; beloved mother and sadly missed by her sons, Michael (Caroline), Don (Meta), and her daughters Ann and Sarah (Terence); devoted grandmother to her 10 grandchildren, Joseph, Paul, Cara, Rian, Sarah, Laura, David, Ciaran, Clare and Sean. She is deeply regretted by her sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Her remains will be reposing at her home. A shuttle bus service will be in operation from the Ballyliffin Hotel carpark to the wake house each evening from 5pm to 10pm. Family time please from 10pm to 12 noon.

Removal from there on Wednesday at 10.20am to St Mary’s Church Clonmany for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in St Michael’s Church graveyard, Urris. Requiem Mass can be viewed live on https://www.churchservices.tv/clonmany
