Donegal’s star footballers and their manager Jim McGuinness have just appeared on the Late Late Show on RTÉ television.
All or most of the team returned by bus to Dublin at the invitation of Ryan Tubridy who was among the 80,000 plus fans who saw the team win the county’s second All Ireland football title on Sunday last.
Ryan spoke at the start of the show with captain Michael Murphy and manager Jim mcGuinness who described the win and the week of celebrations as incredible.
McGuinness and Murphy agreed that Donegal would enjoy the celebrations but added that their focus would quickly turn to defending the title in 2013.
The Donegal players have just concluded a marathon tour of the county and will be suited and booted (not for football) on the popular show.
