Letterkenny native Emma Gribben has been confirmed on Ireland’s 12-player squad for the FIBA U20 Women’s EuroBasket.
Gribben has been named in the final selection by Ireland head coach Karl Kilbride.
Ireland start in Group B where they will face the challenge of Ukraine and Great Britain in Hungary.
The games take place in early August in Miskolc, Hungary.
Eight of the twelve players are currently playing in the Irish domestic game with seven in the Domino's Women's Super League and one in Domino's Women's Division One - while four players playing in the United States will couple up with the squad.
Gribben, a scholarship student at Dominican University in New York, is one of the US-based players.
Ireland finished fifth in last year’s tournament and are top seeds in Group B of the 2025 edition.
Letterkenny Blaze graduate Gribben has previously featured in the green at underage levels.
Kilbride said: "We've been so impressed by the intensity levels and commitment from the group over the last few months.

“We're in a really enviable position, where we have to leave players behind who are more than good enough to play for Ireland, but were just unlucky this particular year.”
Ireland have games against Iceland, Croatia and Switzerland, before the EuroBasket campaign.
